At Wooribank Cambodia I work as a senior developer on the backend of the mobile banking platform, building and maintaining the APIs that power authentication and core banking operations for end users.

Project overview

The mobile banking backend integrates with the core banking system to deliver secure, reliable services to customers. My focus has been on improving performance, hardening security, and keeping the service highly available in production.

Project Highlights

  • Optimized authentication: Refactored authentication APIs to reduce load on the core banking system, improving response times for end users.

  • Uptime and reliability: Boosted mobile banking uptime and reliability through targeted performance and stability work.

  • eKYC microservice: Updated the eKYC microservice with rate limiting and added OCR-based ID card recognition for identity verification.

  • Production support: Provided production support and resolved technical issues in live environments.

Technologies and Tools

  • ASP.NET Core (Backend): Built and maintained the web APIs that handle core mobile banking operations.

  • Core Banking Integration: Connected the APIs to the bank's core platform to manage accounts and transactions securely.
